Join artist, author, illustrator and nature educator, Keith Davis for this new short workshop aimed at introducing the foundations of sketching and drawing birds for beginners. In this 3.5 hour workshop, from 10am till 1:30pm, participants will be introduced to basic skills and techniques for sketching and drawing birds. Whether you're new to sketching birds, or perhaps a bird watcher interested in sketching the birds you observe, there will be something for you during this workshop.
 
This workshop will be a mix of in-studio art skills exercises and instruction, guidance and tuition, with an opportunity for a nearby nature walk, to do further in-the-field sketching practice exercises (weather permitting). Participants will be provided with all the necessary art materials required during the workshop. Participants may also bring along their own art materials to use, if they prefer. Light refreshments will be provided during the program.
 
Due to space constraints in our Dover studio, this workshop will be strictly limited to 4 registered participants only, providing excellent opportunities for small group and one-on-one instruction.
 
This workshop is not suitable for participants under the age of 15 or for people with mobility issues.
